About the role
We are seeking a Junior Application Maintenance Engineer. The primary focus of this role is to implement custom reference data configurations, develop and enhance automation scripts, and contribute to the troubleshooting and debugging of system issues. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and the client, playing a key role in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and service improvement initiatives.
As a part of your job, you will:
- Implement custom configurations based on Line of Business (LoB) requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to team deliveries and business applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug flows related to WCC, PCRME, and Order Management (OM+).
- Analyze logs to identify and document root causes of incidents.
- Maintain and troubleshoot integrations across systems (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines).
- Resolve technical issues affecting key components such as OM+, Web Center Contact, and PCRME.
- Support development or maintenance of specific automation or tooling scripts.
- Validate configuration changes and participate in production deployments.
- Provide detailed RCA documentation to prevent future incidents.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and contribute to the team knowledge base.
What are we looking for?
Relevant Industry Experience and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 1-2 years of experience in application support, scripting, or configuration roles.
- Experience working with enterprise systems or within a support engineering team.
Mandatory Technology:
- WCC (WebCenter Content).
- OM+.
- PCRME.
- GitLab.
- CI/CD (Jenkins, Pipelines).
- Scripting (custom automation and tooling).
Other Technical Requirements:
- Basic understanding of integration systems and tools.
- Familiarity with production environments and deployment practices.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) exposure or experience preferred.
